Acacia’s vision of healthy communities is deeply connected to quality housing. Our goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment for every individual combined with opportunities for ownership. Transitional Housing covers 750 individual family units and 3 buildings for 475 single adults. Our dedicated team works in collaboration with the New York City Department of Homeless Services to return families and single adults to permanent housing. Each person receives immediate attention and resources to achieve their goals, including employment. All tenants are part of the larger Acacia Network family and are linked to our healthcare, social services and economic development projects.
