Affinity launches the “Get Fit for School” campaign for Bronx Residents
BRONX, NY (August 19, 2011) – Affinity Health Plan, a non-profit managed care organization that offers quality, affordable health coverage to New York residents, in partnership with The Acacia Network, has launched a back-to-school campaign to help children in the Bronx get ready for the new school year. The “Get Fit for School” events will take place from 10AM - 3PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the month of August and the first week of September at two locations in the Bronx.
Children attending the events will have the opportunity to get full physical exams,, immunizations, free giveaways, back to school supplies, and more.
The Claremont Family Health Center at 262-4 East 174th Street, Bronx, will play host on Tuesdays, August 16, 23, and 30, and September 1. On Wednesdays August 17, 24, and 31, and September 7 they will be held at the Park Avenue Health Center, 4196 Park Avenue, Bronx.
