Welcome to the Acacia Network website! Since opening our doors in 1969, the Latino based agencies that make up our network have matured into a dynamic and unified community based organization offering a unique constellation of services in the area of health, housing and economic development. We honor the Latino pioneers that struggled to create these entities by continuing to expand their vision.
Our mission to partner with our communities, lead change, and promote healthy and prosperous individuals and families guides and inspires us to stay grounded while pursuing our goals. We are exceptionally proud of our staff. Each employee performs their responsibilities with the highest degree of dedication based on our values of excellence, commitment, leadership and customer service every day.
Acacia Network has a sound fiscal base supported by our diverse funding portfolio comprised of government contracts from city, state and federal agencies as well as commercial insurance and other third party payers. Additional support for the network comes from housing development activities, and contributions from individuals and companies. The mission ensures that we continually reinvest in our communities through innovative programming and affordable housing ownership.
Acacia Network’s Board of Directors represents the finest leaders from our community who bring expertise in their respective fields of healthcare administration, nonprofit management, community advocacy, government relations, law and public policy. Their commitment to oversight, integrity, and governance is demonstrated through the time they volunteer to comprehensively review the Network’s activities and set the strategic direction.
